Blogspot hasn't been the best fit for me.
So, in an effort to blog more often and more personally I have combined my personal blog and a bit about yarn. If you would like to see it, please head on over to http://spazzyamber.wordpress.com/
I want to thank everyone for their interest, comments and support. It's been fun!

How does your garden grow?
Well, I did it.
I come from a long list of gardeners, family members who can plant anything and have it survive. I don't have their trait. When I touch something, it withers and dies.
This year, I was determined to teach my children about a garden. To let them experience the dirt, the pleasure of watching something grow and the benefits of hard work that comes at harvest time.
So we set out to do a garden.
I bought peat starters so I could start the plants inside. This is them on day one 4/5/09
I watered like I was supposed to and was quickly rewarded with some growth. This is a pic from
04/10/09
They kept growing. As simple as it is for a plant to grow, it's amazing to me. I still can't believe I have not killed the poor things. This is the plants today. 4/18/09
It was a beautiful day today, so we borrowed my father in laws tiller and tilled the garden. It's not done, we need to go at least once more, but I am so pleased.
Here's hoping that I manage to do this right! :)
